Genghis Khan re-visited

I really liked this book- even though it is number two in a trilogy and I hadn’t read number one ( I have now though!) Conn Igguldsen has written a trilogy about Genghis Khan, and his campaign to take over the world as he knew it. His strategies as he builds his armies from warring Tartar tribes, his insights into his enemies, his war tactics all make for really good reading. Igguldsen has researched heavily into this era, enough so to make me think he is pretty accurate in his depictions of life on the plains. A really good read.
